When you tell countries that have nothing and the people in this world that have nothing about Jesus and the miracles He does and the salvation He gives freely, they run for Him with hunger and expectancy, they are on fire for God! And they go with expectancy to every opportunity they have to hear more about Jesus and Gods word. They have a hunger in them to see God show up, and that He does. Are you hungry for Jesus? Do you live with expectancy to see God show up daily? Jesus said he wants to be the center of your life. That means you are to turn to him Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Christ did NOT die for you to pick and choose when you want Him involved in your life. You can not pick and choose what Bible verses you like best and want to apply to your life cause guess what they ALL apply today, tomorrow, and forever!

There will come a day when you stand before God and you say Lord I went to church you know me, I prayed you know me, I am a Christian you know me, and He will say I do NOT know you! Why, because you have been lukewarm for Him. God wants us to serve Him wholeheartedly. He does not appreciate any half-hearted effort. (Revelation 3:15-16 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold (invigorating, refreshing) nor hot (healing, therapeutic); I wish that you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm (spiritually useless), and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of my mouth (rejecting you with disgust.) Revelation 3:15 and 16 warns us against being lukewarm, and teaches us that it is not acceptable to God. His desire is that we be red-hot, on fire, stirred up, and excited about Him, His word, His principals, and His will for our lives. (Romans 12:11 Be enthusiastic to serve the Lord, keeping your passion toward Him boiling hot! Radiate with the glow of the Holy Spirit and let Him fill you with excitement as you serve Him.) Lukewarm people are deceived into thinking they are doing what they should be doing when in fact they are not. For example, you go to church as an obligation but in reality you don't want to be there at all. God is moving so we can either get on board and move with Him, or remain rebellious and get left behind. As far as I am concerned, life is not worth living if Jesus is not the center of it. Sadly, many people waste most of their lives before they realize this is true, and some never do. God never does anything halfway and we should not either. The first commandment of God is that we love Him with our whole heart, soul, and mind. (Matthew 22:37-38 Jesus says"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.")

Jesus isn't looking for fans, He's looking for followers. Followers that are on fire for Him. A true follower is not perfect but sincere, they do not get stuck when troubles arise they keep moving forward with Jesus, they are hungry for Jesus and everyday live with expectancy to see God show up, they are hungry for Gods word and continue to study it, they are set apart by their desperation for God. Jesus changes a true follower from the inside out, they are no longer who they were when you knew them. A follower is not lukewarm but is on fire, they can not be shaken, they are not moved, they stand on the foundation of Gods love. He loves you and wants you to follow him but Jesus will not push you. He lets you decide if you want to follow, He lets you decide if your going to be lukewarm. Just remember we will all go before God one day and would you rather hear the words well done my good and faithful servant or I do not know you!? Time is running out.
